We are a large centrally-located home located just a 3 minute walk to the Salem Common. If you’re looking for a distinctly Salem atmosphere, this is the place for you. Originally built in 1869, recent renovations blend historical character with modern style. Our grand entranceway features an elegant checkered tile floor that leads directly to the first floor unit, and you can follow the stunning spiral staircase to the upstairs unit. In both, you will find yourself immersed in our rich color palette and thoughtfully curated decor. Seven bedrooms and three full baths make our home a perfect spot for large groups or extended families. In the downstairs unit, you will find a newly redone kitchen, living room, and full bath, and two bedrooms. The downstairs living room features a large sectional and TV with streaming capabilities. The striking teal kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs. It was recently updated to add a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience. The full bathroom was completely renovated this year in gleaming white tile with sage green accents. Downstairs there are two bedrooms. The larger bedroom evokes a celestial vibe with its stunning ceiling wallpaper. It features amethyst colored walls and a king-sized bed under the stars. ✨ The second bedroom has its own boho-chic aesthetic with a queen bed and a twin trundle underneath. Upstairs, you will enter into the second unit that takes up the rest of the three story house. The upstairs kitchen was completely redone this year and features new quartz countertops and bar seating that connects to the living room, creating a nicely blended space for cooking and socializing. There are two more living areas on each floor of this unit, each featuring smart Roku TVs, perfect for a movie night or streaming your favorite shows. The two additional full bathrooms are also brand new. The second floor bathroom has an impressive tile walk-in shower and bench, and it also features a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience. The third floor bathroom has a bathtub, convenient for those with little ones. In the second unit, choose from one of our additional five bedrooms to suit your mood, each containing queen beds and a unique vibe. Looking for something mystical? Stay in our tarot card bedroom 🔮 and seek your destiny in the cards on the ceiling. Gaze at the stars as you fall asleep in our constellation bedroom 💫 featuring a bunk bed with a full, extra-long bed on the top and a queen bed on the bottom. Upstairs you’ll pass through the study on your way to the three additional bedrooms. Get a taste of all the sites you’ll visit in our Salem bedroom 🧙‍♀️ adorned with the city’s famous locations. The final two bedrooms are two sides of the same witchy coin: become one with Mother Earth in the nature bedroom 🌿 with plant decor, or luxuriate in the gothic glam of our serpent bedroom 🐍, each of which have wardrobes for you to hang your belongings. There is an additional air mattress available if needed. There are 9 foot ceilings throughout the entire first and second floor of the home, which makes for a spacious retreat, but as you venture furthest upstairs you will be reminded that the house was built in the 19th century. The staircase to the third floor is narrow, and there are some slanted ceilings upstairs, all part of our historic charm. For comfort in all seasons, the house is equipped with air conditioning for warmer weather and heat in the cooler months. We have free high-speed WiFi, and there are books, games, and puzzles in the study on the third floor for your entertainment. Baby items such as a pack ‘n play and high chair are available as well. There is a second floor balcony where we have space for outdoor dining and relaxing in the fresh air. Our seasonal (April-Nov) hot tub is located in the backyard and can be used 8am-10pm. We have free, on-site parking in our driveway for up to 2 cars! All others months of the year (except for mid September-October), also include free street parking. However, if you want to park on the street during peak season, please let us know in advance and we can get you a visitor pass for the street. No parties allowed. We kindly ask guests to adhere to quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Houses in Salem are in close proximity to one another, and we must respect our neighbors’ peace. For some context, here are some of the tourist destinations and their walking distances: Salem Witch Museum 🧙‍♀️, a 7 min walk Salem Common, a 3 min walk Collins Cove Beach, 3 min walk The House of Seven Gables, 14 min walk Peabody Essex Museum, 10 min walk The Witch House 🧙‍♀️, 19 min walk Salem Witch Trials Memorial 🧙‍♀️, 12 min walk Witch Dungeon Museum 🧙‍♀️, 14 min walk Salem Ferry, 16 minute walk MBTA Salem, 13 minute walk For super close eats, Coffee Time Bake Shop and Burrito Spice is a 4 min walk, and Piccolo Piatti is a 2 minute walk, if you need a quick coffee or fast bite to eat! Plus, downtown is about a 7 minute walk, with an abundant amount of restaurants and shops to choose from! The Collins Cove Rail trail is a 2 minute walk, with a Blue Bikes station just a 4 minute walk away on Webb Street, close to the intersection of Bridge Street and Webb Street.
